Dr. Anna Szopa holds Master of Science in Technology and Quality Management and earned doctoral degree in Management Science. As an academic teacher, business trainer and consultant, she has been designing, teaching and evaluating various educational programs. She is a co-editor of books and published articles and book chapters about technology transfer, innovations, assistive technologies and new competencies in the era of digitalization.
Dr. Szopa currently working on the project the Global Public Inclusive Infrastructure (GPII). The aim of the project is to ensure that everyone who faces accessibility barriers due to disability, literacy, digital literacy, or aging, regardless of economic resources, can access and use the internet and all its information, communities, and services for education, employment, daily living, civic participation, health, and safety. Various user-centered design and user interface implementation methods are used that include identifying user needs, understanding user behaviors, envisioning interfaces, and utilizing prototyping tools, with an emphasis on incorporating people in the design process from initial field observations to summative usability testing.
