The UCF Board of Trustees unanimously approved a new online Master’s in Systems Engineering degree to be offered in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems beginning Fall 2020. Systems Engineering is a 30-credit hour program focused on the working professional that requires systems engineering skills in their workplace. Systems engineers are responsible for integrating disciplines, balancing conflicting characteristics, and affordably delivering capabilities. Throughout Florida, but especially in the Orlando area, industry and government are developing these systems for a wide variety of customers such as those in the gaming, medical, defense, space, and entertainment sectors prominent in the Central Florida area.
