Assistant Professor Jennifer Pazour and Ph.D. Candidate Faraz Ramtin’s research was highlighted in the August 2014 Industrial Engineering Magazine. Their research investigates a case-level order-fulfillment technology that is commonly used in cold logistics environments. They develop models for automated storage and retrieval systems with multiple in-the-aisle pick positions that estimate the average travel times for different design configurations and operating policies.
