Niloofar Yousefi is a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the emphasize on Computer Science, Machine Learning and Agent-based Modeling at UCF's Complex Adaptive Systems (CAS) laboratory in the collage of Engineering and Computer Science. She got her Ph.D in Industrial Engineering/Operation Research and her doctoral dissertation was focused on Multi-Task Learning (MTL), a machine learning framework training multiple related tasks simultaneously to overcome the data scarcity limitation of conventional Independent Task Learning models with the aim of achieving better generalization performance over all tasks. Niloofar received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Math and a Master of Science in Operation Research.
